FDX (FedEx) — MEC Page Compositions

Work in progress — FDX has only one real, populated screen today. This doc will grow as the rest of the FDX MEC pages get designed.

Figma MEC file: gpO3masyyNNHxjvRtdcRo7, canvas 21010:2664 ("FedEx") · Token overrides: fdx-mec-spec.html (blocked on DQ-14) · Last updated: 2026-07-14

Minimal by design, not by omission.

A full canvas sweep (2026-07-14) found FDX has exactly one real content frame — the Home screen below. Every other frame on the canvas is either the shared unbranded template scaffold (identical "Frame 1"/"Frame 2" ghosts also present on the UAL and DAL canvases) or a hidden, uncustomized frame that is still literally named for UAL: CLE172, HOTEL COMMITTEE, UPA27, UAL Media Hub. None of these carry FDX-specific content — they're copy-paste artifacts from the UAL template, not FedEx sub-pages. This confirms and extends fdx-mec-spec.html's existing "genuinely unbranded" finding: it's not just missing colors, there are no FDX-equivalent LEC/committee/contract pages designed yet. This doc will be extended one screen at a time as the design team onboards the rest of FDX, following the same pattern as UAL's and DAL's docs.

No comms content captured for FDX either. Same situation as DAL — comms-content.html is entirely UAL-scoped. The table below is structure-only.

#ComponentNotes
1Welcome thing"Welcome Captain Johnson" + real subtitle "#1234567 | LEC 7 | Block 1" (member number / base / block) + "View Contract" link. Naming note: FDX uses "LEC" here, matching UAL's convention — not DAL's "Council" naming. Confirms MEC naming isn't a fixed pattern; check per-airline before assuming terminology.
2card-btn row ×3"DART", "DASHBOARD", "LEC" icon tiles
3horizontal scrolling feed — card-md ×2"UPDATES" section (real text) + "VIEW ALL" — both cards show placeholder "SUBJECT LINE" / lorem-ipsum body (dated 06/16/2026), same not-yet-populated pattern seen on DAL's feeds — confirms the content gap, not a design gap
4horizontal scrolling feed — card-lg ×2"FDX RESOURCES" section (real, FDX-specific text) + "VIEW ALL" — "FDX 2026 Tentative Agreement" (ratified, body text still lorem-ipsum) + a second card also titled "FDX 2026 Tentative Agreement" but tagged "NEW EPISODE" with body "...ly by Night" — the title looks like a stale copy from duplicating the first card without updating it for what's actually a podcast episode. Flag as a likely authoring error, not a structural issue.
5button-sm ×3A second, separate "FDX RESOURCES" section (same label reused for a different content group) + "VIEW ALL" — 3 yellow/gold-colored buttons: "DRAFT INPUT FORM", "DIGITAL POCKET CALENDAR", "SUBSTITUTION FLOWCHART". The yellow/gold fill is not a confirmed FDX brand color (neither of FedEx's real brand colors, purple #4d148c or orange #ff6600, per fdx-mec-spec.html's color scan) — likely still a generic/default button style, not evidence of a resolved DQ-14.
6card-sm ×2"COMMITTEES" section (real text) + "VIEW ALL" — 2 real committee names visible: "RETIREMENT & INSURANCE", "PILOT MEDIA". Neither has its own detail frame anywhere on this canvas (see stub banner above) — tapping through today would have nowhere real to land.

Several hidden=true alternate-state frames exist (extra feed/card-sm variants) — draft exploration, not part of the shown composition.

#ItemStatus
1Resolve DQ-14 (FDX fonts and brand colors) — nothing else can proceed until the design team responds. The yellow/gold buttons on Home are not a confirmed brand color (neither real FedEx purple nor orange) — don't mistake them for a resolved answer.Blocked on design, needs direct nudge
2Remove or explain the stray UAL-named frames (CLE172, HOTEL COMMITTEE, UPA27, UAL Media Hub) on the FDX canvasFlag to design
3No LEC/committee/contract-equivalent detail pages exist for FDX yet — Home references "LEC", "RETIREMENT & INSURANCE", and "PILOT MEDIA" as tappable destinations with nowhere real to land. This doc has one screen because that's all there is to document.Awaiting design
4"FDX 2026 Tentative Agreement" title duplicated onto a card that's actually a podcast episode ("...ly by Night") — likely a copy-paste authoring error on the FDX Resources feedFlag to design/content
5No comms-content.html source for FDX — Updates and FDX Resources feeds show placeholder "SUBJECT LINE" / lorem-ipsum contentContent gap, not a design gap
