Token overrides and brand spec for the DAL MEC branded experience.
DAL uses a split font strategy: display/headings use a condensed typeface, body text uses a humanist sans.
| Slot | ALPA base | DAL override | Weight | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Font/Heading |
Futura PT Bold (700) | Bebas Neue | 400 (display-only, all-caps) | Bebas Neue is all-uppercase; only suitable for large heading text. Confirm Bold variant availability per D33. |
Font/Body |
Futura PT Book (400) | League Spartan | 400 (Regular), 700 (Bold) | Same as UAL body font. Google Fonts, publicly available. |
Bebas Neue constraint: Bebas Neue is a display font designed for all-uppercase, large sizes. It should not be used for body copy or small labels. Confirm with the design team which heading sizes use Bebas Neue and whether a body-weight fallback is needed at smaller sizes.
DQ-15 is open — intent still needs design confirmation, but usage context is now much clearer after a 2026-07-06 pixel-sampling pass (rendered screenshot of node 21247:2989, not just raw fills):
#002a50 — Welcome card and the Contract Comparison featured-content card.#09243d (sampled #0b2443, same shade within rendering tolerance) — NAVIGATE grid and the TOOLS section cards (Scheduling Ticketing System, DART).#05273e — base ALPA navy, neither DAL candidate. Unclear if this mock is simply unfinished there.Do not implement DAL color tokens until DQ-15's intent question is resolved. See design-questions.html DQ-15 for the full question set now being asked of the design team.

navBar-bottom should carry a DAL color, and whether #c01933 is a real DAL-specific red.Surface/Brand / Surface/Brand-Dark) to the two confirmed navy values and add the new slot to the theme endpoint contract if the pattern is adopted.
